Aerial Mapping
Aerial mapping with a drone is an innovative technology that captures high-resolution images above the project site to create detailed maps of construction sites, powerline and pipeline runs, highway and road projects. Using GPS-guided flight paths and advanced imaging sensors, drones can efficiently map large areas with precision; reducing time and costs compared to traditional mapping methods. The image data collected is processed using specialized software to generate accurate topographic maps, orthomosaic images, digital elevation and surface models, topographic contours assisting industries in planning, monitoring, and decision-making. Files produced via this process is provided to our clients in .DXF, .JPEG, .TIFF, .SHP, and other notable file formats.
Mapping projects that require legal filings with a Federal, State, County and/or City regulatory agency must be certified by a Professional Land Surveyor or Professional Engineer depending on the regulations required in each locale. We do not use the term “Survey” as we are not a professional surveying company. To that degree, Hover Visions LLC has an operational retainer with a PLS and PE to provide those services to our clients requiring legal status for your project as needed. We also welcome clients that provide their own PLS and/or PE services and coordinate with those entities to provide “survey grade” accuracy to the aerial maps we produce.
