About
Hover Visions LLC, headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was founded in 2014 after the owner and chief pilot, Dale Parrish, was introduced to the first GPS guided UAV (Drone) manufactured for commercial use. As an FAA licensed private manned aircraft pilot logging over 600 hours of manned flight time, he began to experiment with this new form of flying as an avenue to form his own business. Mr. Parrish was contacted by the now popular DroneDeploy platform; seeking his assistance in beta testing their cloud processing software that was under development. This beta testing opportunity lasted for over two years and generated online and print media coverage about his company.

From Pre-Construction work through the finished and completed project, Hover Visions provides the best aerial data collection process, aerial photography and video support for your operational needs.
As word spread about Hover Visions, requests began to come into the office from construction, infrastructure, oil and gas and emergency services organizations seeking help with their individual projects. Requests from state, county, city and private construction entities as they began to realize the advantage of using UAV technology for general project mapping. With this interest, Hover Visions began to grow rapidly.
In 2017, the first thermal imaging sensor became available as a payload for UAV’s. Having a solid background in thermography, Mr. Parrish purchased and began testing the use of this visual technology for the use of thermal inspection and mapping of commercial roofs, building structural scans and emergency responder search and rescue missions. Again, this generated tremendous online and print media prompting an additional service offered by Hover VisionsLLC.
Later in 2017, Hover Visions LLC began to receive requests for the use of thermal imaging and matching RGB imaging of oil storage tanks in the Cushing, Oklahoma area, the largest crude oil storage complex in the United States.
Global data analytics firms wished to receive imagery from this area to analyze the total storage in this complex on any single day as this does influence the crude oil commodities markets. After approval from the FAA, Department of Homeland Security, FBI and State, County and local authorities to perform this type of work, this specialty service became the major portion of the services offered by Hover Visions. In 2023, thermal image data capture began in Houston, Texas and the New Jersey/ New York bay area. This specialized service was featured by a Dutch broadcast company, VRPro, on a docuseries about global financial investments and commodities trading.
The thermal imaging services we were conducting gave rise to the advent of methane detection and mapping services. Natural Gas, refineries and landfill organizations were seeking avenues to reduce their carbon footprint and inspection costs. These organizations wished to acquire more accurate and less time-consuming ways to inspect their assets for methane leaks. Hover Visions, having the insight this service would be of great value to organizations as a cheaper way to inspect their assets, began to conduct flights with a methane sensor that quantifies methane leaks and provides accurate location data.
